Good quality, fine design, rustic looks and beautiful natural colours.

The beautiful unique vintage rugs, called Frazadas, sourced from the villages in the Bolivian highland, are handwoven in natural sheeps wool.
They are made with simple weaving techniques that gives them a rustic texture.

They mainly come from from the department of La Paz region, but also rugs from other departments, such as Cochabamba, Potosi and Oruro occurs.

The colors of the frazadas are not only about fashion. Its also about identity, among other things it tells what area or department you are from.

Together with the social economic workshop “Place de Bleu” in Copenhagen, CHOLA also makes pillows and other accessories out of the beautiful textiles.

“CHOLA makes the Bolivian craft and culture meet the nordic way of living.“
